REGGAETON IN THE YOUNG PERSONS

Reggaeton is a new musical gender that was born in Puerto Rico as a result of the combination of reggae and hip-hop. This new gender leads to moral deterioration for transmitting in its songs messages with anti-values that damage the integrity of the teenagers, who are the main recipient. In that way, reggaeton has changed teenager’s minds, it has given them a new way of life, a conduct pattern that is violent.We can observe references to the violence of gender and even the girls ask their couples to be treated roughly. Reggaeton is one of the reasons that reinforce this aggressive and violent though because of its violent messages, but there exist other factors that help and feed this anti-social conduct.

Likewise by the involution that lives our society, this deterioration helps in a direct way that the youngster lose the few values that  him instill, because the society, understanding this like family, school and community, does not create a control to the loss of values that nowadays lives  and does  more difficult in detaining. This brings a very big difficulty, because the teenager is diverting by no apt aptitudes.

INFLUENCE OF THE REGGAETON IN THE YOUNGSTERS:

It is said that reggaeton is a type of music without meaningful lyrics since writing a song does not need a brilliant mind, since the lyrics of its songs only have explicit sex, machismo and words that have a deep influence for the youth.

HOW DOES IT INFLUENCE?

FASHION: This gender has been accepted by some and criticized by others, but the majority of the youngsters prefer it, because it is the music that, currently, is fashionable, as it is played in the bars, in the discotheques, on the streets, etc. Moreover it has a sensual dance called  “perreo”

LYRICS: The reggaeton has lyrics influenced by sex, violence and drug addiction; this music degrades to the Spanish using words invented on the streets or bad use of anglicisms.

PERSONALITY: The youngsters use incoherent expressions, manipulating the spanglish and curse words that reggaeton songs say affecting the intellectual training of the youngsters, since they adopt the vocabulary each one of the songs has, because the music marks the lifestyle of each person.

MACHISMO: the lyrics of these songs denigrates to the feminine gender, heading to the women like a sexual object of the men, subjecting them to the verbal maltreatment and physicist, referring to them with sentences like "virgin women that remove, peel them", “Cat fiera”, “gasolineras”,etc.

As conclusion the rhythm like such is not the culprit of the attitudes of the young, if not the way that interpret the information of the songs and the handle inappropriate that gives him  to the language that uses the singers. What would have to do is to give him an orientation to the youngsters, so that they know to interpret the letter of the songs of a suitable way and with maturity, as if this does not do, would give him more elements to a teenager that finds exploring, not only his affectivity if not all his sexual appearance, carrying it with the music of a no suitable way.
