The rescarch group odserved the ase classification of each ofthe films, and it found that, in addition to violent scenes that have more than doubled since the 1950,gun appearances in films classificed for children under 13 have tripled desince 1985, which could have a direct effeut on the psychological development of children and their acctitude.
Parents can not expect their children to do a proper analysis of the films if they do not accompany them to see them. With all the time children spend alone and in the care of other people it is difficult for them to understand the differences between reality and fiction.
